Parent Involvement as a

Cooperative Member:

Being a preschool cooperative member means giving an extra bit of your time, and in return, creating an enriched learning environment for your child.

 

Each parent who has chosen the cooperative option is expected to

work as a teacher's aide or otherwise assist the teacher on a regular

basis, approximately 1 school day for every 5 days of child's enrollment. Parents working as a teacher's aide help to ensure a prime Adult/Child ratio of 1 to 5. Parents are also expected to perform a committee duty, attend a monthly meeting (parent education and co-op business), and generally support the operation of the co-op.
